Hazel arrived while Sundew and Willow are visiting Tsunami and Turtle, asking them if they could hear the roaring of Commander Belladonna. Willow asked if Hazel wanted to come with her and Sundew to take breakfast to the visitors, but Hazel declined, saying that she is at a really good part in her book. She asked if they were late to see Queen Sequoia, to which Hazel responded that she would call them when she was ready, going back to her book.
Upon waking up, Sundew notices Hazel perched in her hammock, reading a book. The three spent the rest of the night in a pile of leaves in Hazel's room. Hazel, Willow, and Sundew went to see the new strangers, who turned out to be Tsunami, Turtle, and Io. She was ordered off the throne by her great-grandmother and was confused if she was allowed to talk to Sundew normally. Hazel was seen sewing sheets of speckled paper together to make a book on Queen Sequoia's throne. She is regal and poised towards her subjects, with sufficient training from Sequoia on becoming a good queen.īiography The Lost Continent Prophecy The Poison Jungle Hazel is kind and smart, as well as an able-minded and considerate leader who genuinely cared for her suffering tribe. She was shown to be critical of the shoddy binding on the Book of Clearsight, but also carefree and humorous at a point. Hazel enjoys reading and making books, as she was always putting together her own creations or reading others'. Hazel has green scales, green wings, large brown eyes, and deft, dark green claws.
